Pole Vaulting is an event for athletes where a person uses a long and flexible pole (today is usually made of fibreglass or carbon fibre) as an aid to leap over a bar.Brad Walker is a pole vaulter from Seattle,America and is ranked No. 1in the world.He is the favourite for this year's Beijing Olympics in Summer and he has won 2 championships including one last year at Osaka,Japan.Brad has vaulted just 6 inches below his sports Holy Grail,Sergei Bubka's15 year old record of 20 feet and2 1/2 inches.
